Take me riding
Not that bearded man
With his sack and his toys

snow, pine trees, and birch
Stories by the fire
The cold beauty of Lake Michigan
Turtles hold the earth there
And dreamcatchers strung by Anishinaabe hands
Leave nightmares no door
Cherries make a fine wine
As does a Traverse vineyard
A raised glass, a toast to gravitational waves
A song on a lone guitar
Visit me on your sled
